Getting Ready for Christmas

So excited for Christmas!!! I made my first homemade ornament at school. I covered a shiny star with lots of glitter, and then glued a picture of me on to the front. My mom said it was the best thing she has ever seen.

I also found some totally awesome ornaments. Here is a "Rock 'em Sock 'em Robot" ornament which actually has moving parts!!

I also got my Nativity scene out so I could play "Baby Jesus." Here I am playing Baby Jesus with my brother Pagoda. He likes it when I put the Angel Gabriel on top of the house because a star lights up and music plays - then we can DANCE!!!

My Visit with Santa

My Popo took me to visit Santa Claus this week. I was planning to sit on his lap all by myself because I am a big girl now, but when I saw Santa Claus, I became shy, so I asked my Popo to sit next to Santa Claus, so I could sit on her lap.

I told Santa Claus that I wanted Legos, Playdough and dresses for Christmas, and that I have been a good girl. Then he gave me Strawberry and Cream ice cream when I was done visiting him.

I had a lot of fun. Maybe next year I will sit on his lap all by myself.

Big Sister

I am going to be a big sister!!!
Here is a picture of my little baby sister. I went with my mom and dad to see her.

My mommy's belly is really growing. I like to lie my head on it and listen to her move around. And every morning I say "Good Morning baby sister" and give her a kiss. Here I am snuggling with mommy's belly to keep baby sister warm.

Thanksgiving

Had a great Thanksgiving at my Popo and Gung Gung's house. It was very cold that day, but we kept warm hula hooping, and eating lots of turkey, ho mei fan (Good Flavor Rice), green beans, vegetable soup and bread. There was also sweet potatoes but I don't really like them because they are so mushy.

Bedtime

Last week my parents bought me a big girl twin size bed. Look at me!!! We went to Target to buy bedding. I chose Dora the Explorer and Polka Dots sheets, and then I picked a Hello Kitty Blanket.

I really like my big girl bed because I can climb in and out all by myself.

My Summer

It's been a long time since I updated you about my life, but I have been very busy this summer.

I went to a wedding, where I stayed up late dancing and eating cupcakes, petit fours and eclairs.



















I spent a lot of days poolside with my family, eating bbq and LOTS of watermelon.













And I had a lot of picnics at my local park.

Another Street Fair

There are a lot of street fairs in the Summer. A few weeks ago I went to the Fremont Street Fair with my friends Shane & Taylor.

Lily's 1st Day of Preschool

I started preschool this month. Here are pictures of my first day.

I had lots of fun. I made lots of friends, but I am still learning their names.

It's My Birthday

I celebrated my 3rd birthday this weekend at my park. My friends Coco, Annabella and Darcy came out to celebrate with me. We played on the swings and see saw, and ate all my favorite foods: broiled chicken, chow mein, carrots, strawberries and watermelon. We also had juice and yellow cupcakes with chcocolate frosting. I decorated them myself. It was the best birthday EVER!

I love work!

Last week my Baba took me to his work.
I got to draw and glue paper in my own book. Then I got my work badge made.
I made a new friend named Daisy too! I love going to work with Baba.

I'm hoping he lets me go to work with him again this week. I'll send out my business cards when I get them.

Kicked Off 2010!

I kicked off 2010 with lots of fun days!
My mom & dad took me to the Little Farm in Berkeley, where I could feed lettuce and celery to sheep, goats, cows, ducks, pigs, chicken and geese! I was still a little scared of the animals, so I just watched as my dad & my mom fed them.












I also went shopping for groceries at Trader Joe's. I picked up all my faves: yogurt, cinnamon raisin bread, trail mix and frozen chicken pot stickers. That day was raining, so I wore my rain boots, and my mom & dad let me jump in puddles!! I made a BIG splash.




















I also helped my mom celebrate her birthday. It was a LOT of fun, because we got her a BIG ice cream cake. I ate all the cake, but I though the ice cream was too cold.
